Jesus commands us to “…go and make disciples of all peoples…” (Matthew 28:19 NLT). So whether to our neighbors in Fairbanks, to the native Eskimos or Athabascan Indians in their Alaskan villages, the folks in your “neck of the woods,” or around the globe, the call is the same … “make disciples of all peoples.”
As a result of our ongoing commitment to “make disciples,” opportunities continue coming to us through Global DAWN Network.
Orality training in Hetauda, Nepal highlighted our Asia trip last November. Nepal is one of the world’s least evangelized nations. A primary reason 96% of the people groups in Nepal remain outside the reach of the Gospel is the remote nature of the mountainous Himalayan countryside making access of its population very difficult. We are in the beginning stages of a project to concentrate on vision, scale, and logistics to impact the entire country of Nepal. To go where others have not gone…to do what others have been unable to do. With the development of the Nepal Peoples Network, Global DAWN will be able to provide a focused energy of envisioning, encouragement, equipping, and mobilizing leaders in this nation of unrest and persecution. We will also begin to research aid projects in areas that are still untouched by many humanitarian aid agencies.
Pray with us as we finalize arrangements for Sandy to return to Nepal and perhaps India in November. Our national associates are pleading for further orality training. We would like to answer that call. Travel expenses to and around Asia represent the majority of our need for funds. Or you may also be interested in subsidizing one of our “cup of cold water” projects underway in India and Nepal. If so, contact us directly, and we’ll share more about a water/well development for farmers in Central India, supporting a youth conference in Nagpur, India, or bringing fresh water to villages in Nepal.
Thanks to you who give regularly to support our GDN calling. Any funds given for our mission opportunities are held in escrow and used entirely for our expenses. Tax-deductible gifts may be written and mailed to “The Encounter” at the address below with a note for “The Moores.” If interested in making a direct deposit, please contact us for account information.
Following His Call to …Go and Make…,
