Global DAWN

The Time is Now

We’re on the road again … to INDIA and NEPAL where the harvest fields are ready and the time for bringing in the harvest is NOW! Our Global DAWN Network team has researched the harvest field in India and elsewhere in South Asia. We’ve learned a good deal about the people groups—the lost cultures of India’s caste-ridden societies and the religious bondage that overcomes the Nepalese people.

It’s now time for action as we work hand-in-hand with Indian and Nepali church planters and leaders to impact people groups with the Gospel.

PRAY for us as we prepare for a two week South Asia trip in November:

To INDIA

· Our onsite work with Global DAWN Network partners and national associates culminates in New Delhi with a gathering of the India Peoples Network (IPN), a three-day consultation of encouragement and support and to hear stories of how the Gospel is stretching far into the unreached cultures of that country.

· The India project will focus on the caste-defined cultures of north and central India which are less than 2% Christian.

· Specific local research of humanitarian needs will lead to possible development of well projects to provide desperately necessary clean water.

To NEPAL

· We will sponsor a four-day seminar in Hetauda on Story Telling with the Nepal Peoples Network (NPN).

· The Nepal project will be a time of training in oral communication, where Bible stories are used to plant churches in villages where the name of Jesus has never been heard.

· The love of Christ will be demonstrated in practical ways, laying the foundation to improve infrastructure, dig wells, and more.

The Lord of the harvest calls us to deliberate action – loving our neighbor as ourselves. As we bring focus to the strategic steps necessary to engage and impact people groups, we’re delighted to have two leaders from our Fairbanks’ church join us on this trip to assist in developing our “cup of cold water” projects.

Consider GIVING toward our ministry in INDIA and NEPAL:

· We’d like to challenge you to fund one or more of our indigenous ministry partners that they may attend the Story Telling Training in Nepal. The cost for each attendee is $50. Our prayer is that through your giving, 60 church planters from villages in the mountains of the Himalayas can come, learn how, and experience the value of telling Bible stories in their cultures.

Tax-deductible gifts can be written and mailed to “The Encounter” at the address below with a note for “The Moores.”

THANKS!

Be blessed!
